We have planned ahead for your family’s visit and we are so happy to serve your needs as you worship with us at Kamloops Alliance Church. Nursery care is available during the Sunday 10:00 a.m. worship service.

When you are packing your diaper bag please include the following items:  two or three disposable diapers; complete change of clothes, (just in case!), a change pad, crib sheet & blanket if child will be napping, and a bottle (or sippee cup) of milk, formula, juice or water.

In order to keep track of your child's personal items please label all items (including pacifiers and sippee cups) with your child’s first and last name before arriving.

A nursery leader will meet you at the door of your child’s classroom to receive your child, and all of his/her personal effects. When signing your child in, please note on the sign-in sheet  any information that will assist our caregivers; such as feeding times, sleep time, allergies or special needs.

When you check in you will receive a security number for yourself; one will also be placed on your child and his or her diaper bag as well. There is a number display at the front of the sanctuary; if your number appears on it you are needed in the nursery.

When you return to pick up your child you must have your security tag. For safety purposes, we will not release a child to anyone without a proper security tag. We do not release children to other children. Please collect your children as soon as the worship service is over.

After checking in, just wave a quick goodbye. A few tears are normal when little ones leave a parent. This doesn’t last long and we will give assurance that you will be back soon while we try to create interest in a toy or activity.

If after five minutes a child cannot be settled, your security number will flash on the digital readout box at the front of the sanctuary. When the parent arrives, he or she may stay for the rest of the session to familiarize the child with the room and staff, or may take the child into the service and try again next week.

A snack is provided for your child. Please inform your child's teacher of any allergies
during sign-in.
