WHAT IS THE OKANAGAN GLEANERS?

Okanagan Gleaners is a non-profit Christian charity whose mission it is to "feed the hungry of the world in Jesus' Name". They process raw vegetables into a dry soup mix which is then made available to Christian organizations to help feed those in need throughout the world. The soup mix is distributed to reputable, well established relief organizations such as World Vision Canada, the Mennonite Central Committee, and New Beginnings Ministries.

WHAT WILL YOUR FAMILY BE DOING?

From 8:00am - 11:30am, your family will be cleaning and preparing the vegetables for the food processors and dehydrators. Food prep includes seeding peppers, coring tomatoes and cutting zucchini. The afternoon is open to spend however you wish!
