We are called to live a missional lifestyle. Here at Kamloops Alliance Church we want to make Jesus known in our homes, our work, and our day-to day life. As part of our “More than Me” sermon series we are providing opportunities to serve our community in several ways. Each week, we will be highlighting two of our local agencies that we are partnering with. Each agency has identified needed volunteer positions as well as helpful donation items. ⁣

Due to our present safety protocol we are providing people an opportunity to fill desired volunteer positions through an online form (Click HERE). Their names and contact information will be collected and distributed to each agency's Volunteer Coordinator who will contact everyone.

Donation items can be dropped off at the designated drop off sites identified below. ⁣

House of Refuge: Central Mexico

Throughout the “More than Me” series we are asking people to give of their time, talent and treasure. We are praying and asking that KAC gives $25,000 to buy a piece of land that will be used to build a “House of Refuge” for persecuted Christians. Pastor Tomas Ben Como, founder of Tarahumaran Ministries, and a ministry partner of KAC and the Christian and Missionary Alliance, is reaching out to the Huichol Tribe in Zacatecas state in Central Mexico. There is a small but growing group of Christians, but once they express faith in Jesus, are excommunicated, beaten, their land and property stolen, and persecuted by the rest of the tribe. This House of Refuge will act as a temporary shelter for new Christians as they flee the violence and persecution.

Please consider giving in support of what God is doing in Central Mexico. To give, please click HERE.
